Expressing love for India – Lash by Lash
An ode to the glory of Indian Tricolor on its 75th Independence Day
Sometimes, words may not do justice to the glory of Indian tri-color flag and the decades of struggle that finally led to the Independence of India on 15th Aug 1947, so Varsha Sanwale, Founder of Lashcara Lash Clinic®, Pune, decided to offer a visual ode to the magnificent Tricolor on India’s 75th Independence Day.
“Experimentation is the crux of creativity, so I keep on playing with the possibilities of expression through this medium.”- she says.
The stylized colored Lash extension set took 4 hours to make. The model who is also a classical Kathak dancer was really happy with the outcome, says- “Being an artiste, I understand how challenging it can be to use an art form to express things subtly and that is why Varsha’s idea immediately struck a chord with me. It was fun to collaborate and come up with something dedicated to the beauty of our nation on this special day.”
Here are some amazing shots from the Independence Day special shoot:
The images from the shoot have already gone viral as Independence Day posts on social media and forwards on chatting apps. We share some of these ahead. Feel free to pick up one to wish your near and dear ones.
Varsha who has been practicing Lash Enhancement in Pune and Indore, has always been in forefront of innovations when it comes to new modes of styling in Lash extensions. Earlier this year, she launched Lashbow®– The stylized color lash extensions.
When asked what does she feel about the Eyelash extensions scenario in India and where does her work fit in?
She signs off, saying- “Idea is to set a benchmark for innovation in this field. Professionals should not shy away from trying out new techniques and styling. How else would people get to know about the possibilities?”
